  1. How do I start planning?

Start with your budget and once you know how much you want to spend, think of where all you would like to go and have a good look at the map. Use a booking search engine to get an idea of connections, popular stopovers and costs. Following this you can finalise and book what suits you best.

  1. When is the best time to book?

The fares and airlines that are available on a particular date or month vary depending on seasons and holidays. There are some months of the year when the air traffic is high, making the fares significantly higher. If you travel during off-season time you could bag a fairly cheap ticket as well.

  1. What if I want to change my travel dates?

A change to be made to the date of travel depends mainly on availability of seats on the new desired date. It varies from airline to airline, but there are associated costs with making changes. It would be best get to get in touch with an agent or customer care to discuss about the rules for change in dates.

  1. How much luggage am I allowed to carry?

The standard baggage allowance varies from class to class. In the economy class, the limit is 20kg, in business class it is 30kg and in 1st class it is 40kg. It can also vary based on your airline; your ticket should mention what it is exactly.

  1. Is travel insurance essential?

When you are travelling long distances, your investment is quite high and it makes sense to secure it. It can prove extremely handy in times of an emergency and it’s always better to play it safe. You can either opt for an insurance policy on your own or speak to your agent about the options available.

  1. Do I have to incur any visa fees?

The rules regarding fees for visa depends on the country you are visiting. It is advisable to study the visa requirements of the countries in your itinerary.

  1. What if I miss my flight?

it is advisable to keep your dedicated RTW expert from our team in loop in case you want to miss or have missed a leg of your RTW journey. If there is reasonable time available, then re-routing of flights and reissuing of tickets is possible in some cases.
